Board of Directors

Advisory Board

Members of the Advisory Board are distinguished professionals with extensive knowledge, broad networks. and relevant experience. They are selected based on their portfolio of proven leadership and achievements. They have a non-voting role, focusing on mentoring and supporting the Board of Directors.

Their expert guidance is crucial in shaping strategic decisions and fostering organizational growth. The involvement of these prestigious leaders enhances the organization's credibility and reach, while
helping to navigate complex challenges and capitalize on opportunities. They do not receive compensation for their role on the Advisory Board. 

Committees

Our committees are the teams that set out to accomplish the tasks and goals of the UFAMA! They are led by board members, and consist of a diverse group of volunteers. 

Executive Leadership

Consists of President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Treasurer, and Secretary. 

University Relations

Coordinates with on campus organizations to identify and engage with future University of Florida military-affiliated alumni. 

Events

Plans and executes key events, including the Annual Awards Dinner and the Military Reunion Tailgate. 

CommunicationS

Manages the UFAMA newsletter, website, and social media presence.

Community Development

Cultivates relationships with individuals and organizations to build awareness and support for UFAMA.

Fundraising

Supports fundraising efforts through donation solicitations, merchandise sales, and targeted campaigns.

Awards

Leads the promotion, review, and selection of Annual Award Dinner winners and Hall of Fame inductees.

Scholarships

Promotes, reviews, selects, and awards scholarships to University of Florida students.
