James McCrary hails from Milton, Florida. He graduated from Milton High School in 2003 before enlisting in the US Army as a 14E Patriot Missile Operator/Maintainer. 

He has been assigned to multiple duty stations at home and abroad. His many deployments and multinational exercises include Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. 

James completed his undergraduate degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland before earning his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2022. 

Raised as a lifelong Gator, James ranks receiving his MBA from UF amongst his greatest achievements, which include retiring from the Army.

James lives with a loving wife of 10 years and their 2 children, Aubrey and Connor. In his free time he enjoys being a father, working out, and staying active.
