Evan Lowe

VP - Communications

Evan Lowe is from Virginia Beach, VA, and graduated from Christopher Newport University with a BA in Communication and holds an MA from Webster University in Management and Leadership.

He is a current University of Florida student, pursuing a graduate level degree in Audience Analytics with plans to apply to the Warrington Business School in 2025. He is planning for a career shift to Army Marketing in the coming years.

Evan commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in 2015 and was assigned to Fort Polk, LA. Since commissioning, Evan has been stationed in Fort Sill, Fort Campbell, and Jupiter, FL, including deployments to Iraq from 2017-2018 and South Korea from 2020-2021. He has worked in leadership positions from the Platoon, Company, and Battalion level officer-in-charge duties.

Evan is currently on his second company command as the Jupiter Army Recruiting Company Commander in Jupiter, FL. The organization has reached historical heights due to his active leadership for his Soldiers and engagement with key influencers across the Treasure Coast.

He has worked in multiple Communications and marketing roles in the army, to include being the Field Artillery Proponent Office’s Engagement Officer, where he was the face of the Field Artillery for all cadet engagements. In this role, he engaged cadets in person, created multiple social media accounts, and created multimedia products to show off the unique opportunities his branch presents.

Evan is a die-hard Gators fan since birth, growing up watching the Gators with his father. In fact, watching the Gators is one of his favorite early childhood memories!

He made it his goal to one day become a student and is ecstatic to be an involved student and association member. His passion for UF and military service drew him to this leadership position with military alumni.
